Our owner, Tammy Bates, spends her off season from her successful full service landscape contracting company, creating do-it-yourself landscape designs for clients that do not necessarily need full professional installation services. With 30+ years of landscape experience and a professional landscape architecture degree from Iowa State University, Tammy uses that knowledge and experience to build a professional landscape design for your home. These personal designs are custom-made and can fit all your needs. With this service, you will receive a one-on-one consultation with Tammy where you will discuss the vision of your landscape project. Using her expertise and your requests, Tammy will create a plan perfect for you to install on your own and/or give you a proposal for any specific areas for the design you would like installed professionally.

Tammy uses an easy to follow custom design, to-scale, black and white drawing to showcase her work. These designs include a variety of plant recommendations and specific plant placement to beautify your yard. By having these designs drawn in the Winter or the early months of Spring, come planting season you'll be able to make your plan come to life for the warmer months. Most of these plans range from $200-$300 for a full yard landscape design. Custom designs are available for a smaller area of your property at a reduced price.
